Recently had a failed turbo, this resulted in a blocked Diesel Particulate Filter- which has now been cleaned and refitted. In the interim local garage advised me that I had a fault code re. accelerator peddle unit, which was replaced. DPF cleaning has given me back good acceleration, but garage now telling me I have fault code 43E2, Throttle valve actuator. Car appears to be running OK, does anyone know what a faulty actuator would cause?
This forum suggests code is Throttle Valve Actuator-Open Circuit. Can the fault be linked to the replacement of my accelerator pedal/unit? Or, do I have to have the actuator replaced?
