Anyone in Milton Keynes with INPA? Dash lit up like a Xmas tree!

    Hi

On way back home this evening in the heavy rain, I heard a beep from the car followed by most of the dash lights coming on and the speedo stopping working.

The lights that came on were: DSC (S6 now allowed so definately off), Handbrake (red), ABS, Tyre pressure and SMG cog. Otherwise, the car drove fine and changed gear as normal. Below is a quick vid of the lights.

From what I've found so far, could this be a wheel speed sensor or similar? I've just ordered some software for diagnosing myself but it won't come for a couple of days and need to get fixed asap so is there anyone very near to MK with INPA that could help me out?

As I got half a mile from home, the speedo started working again but the lights stayed on. Has anyone experienced similar or can offer any wisdom?

    Thanks

    Matt

Heavy rain and ABS sensors = lights

I would wait till it had dried out some and then probably 10 restar

I'm going to check the car in a mo when it stops raining and give it a run to see what happens (brake test etc). I've been reading up a bit and while alarming initially, the fix hopefully won't be a big issue. I would have been round yours like a rat up a drainpipe but I've moved to Milton Keynes now so it's a bit far now! I knew you'd offer though mate, cheers for that.

I've ordered my own lead and software which should arrive in the next day or so so hopefully I can plug it in myself and diagnose, along with a few other bits I'd like to do.

I'll report back here for the benefit of others when I work out the issue.

    Matt

A short drive has confirmed that the ABS is not working, TC is definately off and cruise works.

Quick update on this for anyone else that may experience a similar issue. The problem was the nearside rear wheel speed sensor, hence the speedo issues. A replacement from ATE was 50% of the price of a BMW one and I purchased one of these and had it fitted. All errors gone, car back to driving faultlessly.
