I removed my 3T alarm from my E36 328i last week and I thought it was successful. There were a few occasions when I couldn't start the car start, it was clearly immobilized. Turns out I missed a few bits, hacked around some more until successful!
So it was starting up fine. I had traced all wires back and removed them. It was starting up every time last week, however, today my bother tried to move the car and found it wouldn't start, he tried again a little later and it worked, then the same problem again later.
I also released that I've disconnected the interior lights and need to sort that (they no longer work since removal - but should be easy to fix).
Am I right in thinking that if the alarm is completely removed then it cannot be that, that's causing the issues?
I'm thinking tomorrow I sort the interior light issues and maybe rejoin the ignition wires where the alarm was spliced in (just in case theres a dodgey connection there).
I wonder if anyone has had similar issues before or any suggestions as to attempt to diagnose what the problem is?
Thanks in advance!
