Do all stereos have an electric aerial connection?

Just as above guys if anyone can help

The stereo in the e28 is the original tape and radio and i want to fit a cd player to listen to my sounds when i start working on it again. I want to keep the electric aerial tho but dont know if the cd players have a plug for this?

I like the cd player in the e34 which is a KENWOOD KDC 3090R and wanted the same for the e28, with better speakers, if anyone knows thatll be ok?

Im not having much luck with google

    Appreciate any advice

    cheers, watty

Do E28's come with motorised aerials ? Thats

Anyway, page 28 of the manual for your headunit (http://manuals.kenwood.novenaweb.inf...4090-3090R.pdf) suggests that there is an output for the aerial

    Thats perfect, ta very much

Been thinking about and if its just a normal connector then surely it would work in most cds...Ive wrote down a list of stereos with orange dislpays to match the clocks etc so maybe i could get one of them

Yeah the 4 e28 ive had Ferret have had the motorised aerial

    Ralph:
No way mate, the motorised aerials the best bit about the car, im easily pleased!

Yes mate, most have a wire for it, usually labeled 'REMOTE' or 'ANTENNA'. either will power your aerial.............you flash fooker

As Speerzie said, the wire will be labeled remote/antenna and it is usually coloured blue, it is the same wire that when connected to an amp gives a signal to power the amp on, it also works in the same way for power antenna's buddy!

A mate of mine recently admitted that he was a brake fluid addict! When I quizzed him about it he insisted that he could stop any time.
