    Damn XcarLink

Well second time this year and in 3k miles my XcarLink has stopped working. Not sure what it is this time, last time it was dodgy wiring on the lead.

This time it has just presented me with "No discs" on the headunit.. anyone else using this product and have any ideas what the problem is? I've emailed the company, so will see what words of wisdom they have.

I've only had one XcarLink in a BMW, that was in the Z3M Coupe, and it was the biggest load of shit I have everhad the misfortune of controlling my ipod while in a car with.
It plays songs but if you skip a song it just did what it wanted to, I was scared to touch it as sometimes it just stopped.

I had one with no problems at all but it was the older generation one. Plumbs and yours are the newer type and seem crap and unreliable

Haha sorry guys! When I fitted it I had left the original wiring fitted to the back of the changer, removing this has resolved the problem.
