    Bluetooth Issue.

Hi Guys, Newbie here, so please treat gently.
I have just changed my phone and now have a Blackberry 9320 curve.
I am having difficulty in blue toothing to my BMW X3 (yr. 2008)
My phone can not find the car at all.. So frustrating.
Someone said about encription and to un tick contacts, so I have done this, but still nothing.
Can some one please help me on this, so important for car and phone to connect re: work.

    Thank you
    Sue

I know that with my old BB, the Bluetooth was very reluctant to communicate with anything. I think they're usually set to be undetectable and you have to go into the settings on the phone and make it discoverable, but I'm not sure, long time since I had it.

    Hi Chris,
Yes BB are extremely security conscious.. I have been into settings and made it discoverable. It can find anything except my car?

The 9320 is compatible with the bluetooth on your car Sue. Bit more info needed...i-drive fitted? If not, Proffesional Radio unit? Also, did you get into the pairing menu? Otherwise, let me have the last 7 characters of your VIN and I will check for you.
