Thread: Headunit Recommendation

Morning all,

Just wondering if any of you are any good with headunits, I have some pretty specific requirements and haven't really managed to find anything.

1. Must have variable colour display (so that I can match it to the colour of the dash lights)
2. Must have iPod control (rear iPod lead or USB)
3. Can be either single or double din
4. Must look good!!
5. Bluetooth is optional.

Closest thing I have found so far is:

Car Sounds &amp Security - Home : Store : Pioneer : Stereos : Fh-X700bt

Although it does not have the rear iPod lead or USB

Thanks, I'll have a look. Not sure if they have a totally variable colour display though.

They do indeed I have had a few but I decided I like the OEM look too much, however the ALpine can match the colour of the clocks identically or virtually any colour you want

Definitely struggling to find these, I've been through the UK Alpine website and none of the headunits featured feature more than 4 colour illumination.

Wow that is definitely cheap, unfortunately I am very picky and can't stray from my list. I just don't think the car would look right with an orange dash and a blue stereo. Also I don't think it would look good with an iPod lead trailing across the dash. Thanks for the link though.
