Having spent a small fortune on our Mini Cooper this year (new clutch, then gearbox, then PAS pump, then rear discs and pads!) it's now using water. There are no visible leaks from the water pump and we've just replaced the radiator, however water is being pushed back via the reservoir when the engine is at full working temperature. I've let it cool down and removed the water filler close to the cylinder head and this has been full. I don't know if this is related, but the handbrake and ABS warning lights come on occasionally and this is usually accompanied by a whirring noise from the engine bay. Any ideas out there?
