Hi since im going to be using this as my main skid car for this year and also adding some bits and pieces to it over the next few months thought i would start a build thread.
After last summer of using my old e36 coupe as a beginner skid car, a few pics of from when i got it to when it finally ended up in the wall at Jumanji after what can only be described as i got a little ahead of my actual tallent.
so a brief run down on start to finish of that car first
Well as a few of you on here know the first jumanji nights was held last weekend. It was my first ever time drifting and I loved it now hooked. Here a few pics folk got from the day,
After my wee brush with the wall ha
well after some modifications to the car before the last Jumanji events including the modified hubs etc. I was having a blast managed to last in to the evening. The modified hubs just seemed to make me think i was invincible and was managing to get my first manjis along the straight......
It then ended up like this
And that was its last ever event as during the Sunday the car went up in flames so game over and time to move on to something else.
I tried the Touring route but was not feeling it a few pics
So which now brings me on to the latest car that will be used. Been dropped off at home by the guys of T33m Beard in the borders
Brief Spec for now
- 328i engine change
- e46 arms with polbushes
- stainless manifolds
- welded diff
only pic i have just now
Will get more as soon as i am back on dry land
Upgrades i have collected already a set of 10j Revolution RFX wheels
arch extentions universal jobs just to take the wider wheels
two cobra bucket seats as the car still has full interior so that will all be coming out
I still have a spare set of harnesses kicking about to throw in for now.
Thats as far as i am with the car so far managed to pic up an m3 front bumper and evo lip today so will likely end up giving the car a full hit of paint while im there.
Heres a few pics of my Alpina show car and also my Skyline R33 1jz which will be likely going to pastures new at some point in the near future
