Well some of you may or may not know; but I no longer own my 323Ci Convertible. I owned the car for 6 years so was very hard to know it was going and see it go. But I hope the next owner appreciates and loves the car asuch as I did.
So my new car:

The car has a build date of 20th October 2005 and a registration date of 2nd March 2006; so falls nicely into the cheaper tax bracket Since March 2006 the car has covered 29,910 miles, I purchased the car at 29,612.
My plan for the car is to get it back to being box fresh, or at least most of the way there. All though it has done very little miles there are some unusual wear marks in my opinion. The kick plates have gone a bit milky where I assume water from maybe a jet wash has got in under the laminate, the top rear quarter panels door cards have a few minor holes from getting in and out of the back, the rear badge has faded, the drivers side door handle / trim is marked so needs spraying or replacing.....there's a few more tiny bits but that's about it. Oh and also, some numb nuts has put a Michelin Pilot PS3 on the rear nearside instead of a Michelin PSS like the other 3 tyres; so that will need replacing at some point. A previous owner has also added bright white number lights.
Also, I'm starting to find that the car has been played with electronically, I think. The roof goes up and down off the key, which is what I had programmed on my 323 and wanted it doing to this (bonus), the mirrors fold and unfold off the key; and I think the CSL shift lights have been mapped in, video to confirm.....or not confirm.....
The only thing I have done to date is give it a quick wash, I haven't managed to clay and polish it yet as I've just been enjoying it. But I've been collecting products ready for a good spit and polish (thanks to Gav's thread and the replies I got back on the detailing thread I started, great help )
I also want to carry out some preventive maintenance on the arches in the form of
Took a few snaps at a local airfield pull in near to me. Please don't judge me on the slight smearing on the windows, the glass polish I ordered has turned up.
A few with the roof down and windows up....
The kiwi leather interior
And a few with the windows dropped.....
Unfortunately, bad news always follows good news ay, the DSC pressure sensor and boot solenoid packed in so a quick trip to Autotech in Warwick and everything should be back to normal. The bonus, some good news , the warranty company and dealer have agreed to pay the bill.
The pictures aren't the best as I'm only using an iPhone, and I'm not a photographer
Thanks for reading or at least looking at the pictures. Any comments good or bad are welcome
