Another E36, another 318is, but now a rare saloon! The previous daily is now getting parked up for winter as it won't pass an MOT atm so this is my new daily. Tbh I picked it up cheap to break it but after driving it around it seemed too good. I almost forgot how good these little 4 pots were! The car has sat for a while and the rear arches were completely gone, the interior is filthy and I changed the oil straight away!
Pulled it up onto the driveway for a good inspection. First signs weren't great tbh.
Had a little mini-meet with myself and a mate (top left is my 318i saloon, bottom left is my M3 covered up for winter, bottom right is the 318is saloon and top right is my mate's 318is).
Needed a jump as I left it sitting too long over xmas.
It was the inside that made me want to keep it and fix it. Sports seats, nets on the back, M sport steering wheel, 18 button OBC. Even cup holders in the rear arm rest! It even has the original tape player.
So here it is outside the bodyshop for trip number 1. It's somewhere I know via work that done me a good deal.
More to come as I've now got it back but haven't had a chance to take any photos yet!
List of parts needed atm:
- Water pump
- Gearknob (current one is horrid!)
It also needs a bloody good wash once it's finished with winter. The plan with this one is to slowly upgrade it and mod it a little bit around the M3. It's my daily and also must be my family car so probably won't go silly.
