Needs inspection inside, you can't save the wing from looking at the outside, the inside and outside need rust removing. Cleaned up properly and hole brazed / welded or lead loaded is easy a decade of life if the labour is not more than a 350 wing, in which case uneconomical to save

Yeah have been in touch with a couple of people and have had a quote for the new wing so will wait for an assessment and then decide which way to go

Thanks, yeah I know they can be a bit marmite, I do think they look even better in person. I will be changing the front splitter eventually as it catches on speedbumps at times so going to go for csl style flippers. Without splitters it seems naked now and not as aggressive

Just in case this helps anyone else who had a boot lid button that doesn't work:

Appears the lens gaskets have failed as well:

Cracked the corners whilst trying to get it out, d'oh:

    Not too bad:

    All done:

    The quality does seem poorer:

My advice, don't just replace the microswitch. I'll let the photos do the talking:

Firstly Congrats on your purchase. You must be over the moon!

Does the M5 knob make much of a difference. I really need to replace my and thinking about going down this route.

Yeah I think so, seller had it powder coated before selling. Not on the car yet, just waiting for the weather to improve so I can clean and seal them.

Thank you, and yes I am. Just hit 100,000 miles on the weekend and still got a load on my list that I want to do to the car, but its getting there.

I personally feel a huge improvement, there's a nice weight to it, the light is 'cool' and is a nice addition and it feels substantially shorter than the oem. The throw has been reduced by the previous owner fitting a shorter arm, from the 330 I think.
