Alright then chaps.
Got my 330Ci a couple of weeks ago now, thought I'd put a thread up for you lot to have a look at and I like to look back at my progress.
Nothing much exciting or new is going to happen, hence the name
Right then its a '51 plate 330Ci manual in Titan Silver, 132,000 miles, grey leather, 17" wheels(anyone know what "type" they are?), totally standard.
Its my daily driver and I am on minimum wage so things aren't going to be going quickly.
Split and clean or replace rear lights, new side repeaters
General tidy up of paintwork(stone chips, rust)
Might mess about with the exhaust and make it a bit louder
Thinking about going black "bits"(rims, grills, headlamp surrounds, "330Ci" badge
Black/carbon wheel caps,bonnet/boot/steering wheel badges
Carbon wrap the interior silver trim
Might think about lowering it at some point, but I think it looks fine as it is and roads are bad around here and I don't want to start hitting bits off
I have done a few bits in the last couple of weeks.
Fitted some white sidelight bulbs until I get rings:
Started to carbon wrap my trim, 10 pounds worth didn't get me very far though :jaw-dropping
Don't think its to bad for my first attempt at wrapping.
The car wasn't getting up to temp, the gauge would sit at about a quarter. I ordered a new thermostat along with a metal impeller waterpump(encase it still had the plastic one) and new main and aux belts.
Turns out it did have the dreaded plastic impeller! Still original at 130,000 miles?
Main belt tensioner had a small bit of play and noise so will be ordering a new one this week.
Next expense is a pair of new tyres, think I will probably get Cooper CS6 Zeons.
Thats all for now folks!
