Decided to post up my little project. I noticed there weren't a lot of E60 threads and I wanted to share what I have already done to the car, and my plans for the future.
So I bought the car as a XMas present to myself a couple of years ago. A 55 plate on 40,000 miles with 1 owner. The car was immaculate.
So I got her home and gave her the obligatory clean. Stripped right back with Tar X, Iron X then clayed. She scrubbed up not too bad!
After deciding the standard MV2 just weren't doing it for me, I purchased a genuine set of spiders. I really love these wheels, especially the deeper staggered rears.
The wheels were in OK condition but as the lacquer was fading a little yellow, I decided that a refurb and colour change was in order. I decided on Sebring Grey which as many will know, is a BMW colour.
After taking advice from a good friend, I decided that Ecotune in Glasgow was the next stop for me. After chatting to Stan a remap was decided on.
A couple of days later I decided another colour change for the wheels as well as the roof wrapped black and rear windows tinted.
After being completely fedup constantly welding the rear wheels, a new set was sought.
And then set of H&R lowering springs
And how she looks today
I've also removed the front block holding the plate and swapped front and rears for a set of MSport holders. The front grills have also had plastidip applied top them. They're now black.
Thanks for taking the time to have a read through.
