Got my hands on a 12v pressure brake bleeder for the weekend as I need to bleed the brakes on the CaIibra after replacing the flexi's with braided hoses last weekend.
While I've got it I figured I'd put it to more use as the brake fluid change is overdue on the E90 & due in a couple of weeks on the E91.
I've read that with some ABS systems it's advised to use software to operate the ABS solenoids while doing this to prevent possible air locks in the units. Not something I've ever done in the past when I've replaced brake fluid on cars with ABS, never had a problem with it & no-one to my knowledge has died as a result.
What's everyone's take on this, have people replaced the brake fluid on their BMW's without something to operate the ABS at the same time?
