I'm about to fit a DPF bypass pipe from Ecotune in Scotland to my pre LCI 2006 E60 530d.
I had it up on the hoist at the custom exhaust shop on friday and they have asked me to find out the easy way to remove the dpf before they start on the rest of the system.
Out here in Western Australia they have never tackled one of these before and, as they are charging for this bit by the hour, I'd appreciate any advice from someone who has experience of removing them.
From the little I could see there isn't much access room.
I've emailed Ecotune as well but they are never quick to reply and I'd like to get this moving to finish off the car.
Can any one help please.
