a fair bit but from what I've heard is the gain is about the same if not less than doing the M50 manifold conversion
im not sure if he is on here but have a search for forum member alpina527, he has tried this conversion already
if he isnt on here then he will be on bimmerforums.co.uk

It is a lot of hard work for virtually no gain. There are ITB kits though which are made for the 328 at a hell of a price but will give you far better gains than the M3 ITB's. I know a few have tried putting on M3 TB's but have given up.

I was trying to do this... a lot of work to do + CAD/weld/drill ...

    some manifolds and itb's

This tie have to be welded on other side

a bit of drill in ITBs

    flange

    try with ITB

and finally, when it was so close to finish....

Plenty of generic kits for 4 pots

    Google Weber Alpha for one.

ITB's do exist for 4 pots, but only on E30 M3's or the S42 Race Engines (as far as my memory can remember)

Not to hijack the OP's thread , but thanks for mentioning "Weber Alpha", i'll do some google searches now

ITBs are common on 4 pots just not BMW made ITBs
