Well I knew the inevitable really, that the rear tyres would require replacing on the E60. The car is currently fitted with the following:
Front Drivers - Continental ContiSportContact 3 SSR RFT - Reasonable Tread
Front Passengers - Bridgestone Potenza RE050 RFT - Reasonable Tread
Rear Drivers - Bridgestone Potenza RE050 RFT - Needs Replacing
Rear Passengers - Bridgestone Potenza RE050 RFT - Needs Replacing
Now it is pretty much a toss up between the two tyres, I have had no issues with the way the car drives with the runflats and intend to keep them as I have no spare wheel etc and see no issues with having them.
Does anyone have any views on them, are the Continentals better than the Bridgestones?
Bridgestone RE050A Potenza Bridgestone RE 050A Runflat - 245/40 RF18 93W (*-CZ) RFT TL PRICE: OUR PRICE £165.70 inc.VAT
Continental ContiSportContact 3 SSR Continental Conti Sport Contact 3 SSR Runflat - 245/40 RF18 93Y RFT FR TL PRICE: OUR PRICE £168.60 inc.VAT
So from a price perspective there isn't much in it.
Thanks in advance
