Car pulling all over since fitting Uniroyal Rainsport 3's on rear

I have just fitted 255/35/18 Rainsport 3's on the back of my E90 estate and ever since it has been pulling to left and right. Best way to describe it is like when you are on a motorway and you get in the grooves in the left hand lane from the lorries and your car squirms around from one side to another.

Emailed camskill and they have said it's because they are not run flats. I have had the car 6 years and this is my 3rd set on the back and not had the issue before. Never had these tyres before though.

They say that the suspension is not as stiff because it's designed for run flats which can lead to problems with some tyres. I guess the ones that don't have such strong sidewalls.

Any on else had this issue. I think I am going to have to cut my losses and get another pair. Go back to the ecsta le sports I had on before.

Albeit mine's an E46 coupe I have RS3s on my rears too , I run them on slightly higher pressure than the previous Avons that were fitted and they perform faultlessly for me.

Couple of things I thought are have you tried increasing the rear tyre pressure to near max? & they are XL load rating?

They were at 36psi when I first noticed it so bumped them up to 42 but it's no different. Yes they are XL rating

Camskill could be onto something, i do know the rainsports are a incredibly soft tyre. Try going to the max pressure setting?

What sort of pressure are you talking?

What does it say on the sticker for fully laden? Is it 3.2 bar?
