    Nokian winter tyres, opinions?

Has anyone ever experienced Nokian winter tyres?

I've been looking for some replacements for the current odd budget summer tyres on my E46 320d Touring, and thought i'd read up on winter tyres.

The Nokian WR A3 and WR D3 both get pretty decent reviews and come in at just over 80 a piece.

I've just got the standard 16" alloys at the moment, so presumably 205/55/R16 H(91) to go for?

    Any thoughts/other tyre opinions welcome!

Well, think I tempted fate looking at tyres, just got a puncture involving a nice long screw...

May as well order the Nokians then! Found them for 296 delivered last night for a set of four 205/55/r16.

Actually got them delivered for 332 as the speed rating was pants on the WR D3, I had to opt for the WR A3 instead. I'll report back once they're fitted and used them for a bit.

Nokian tyres are one of the best you can get...... They are fitted to some decent motors, I have seen them fitted to Mercs as winter tyres....

Had the Nokians fitted today, now where's winter...? I'll give some reports when I've used them a while.
