Winter wheel set for 418d F36

Hi Guys

I'm hoping to buy a set of wheels to use on my 418d for winter.

There are loads available 2nd hand and I can find the various measurements (diameter, width, offset etc) fairly easily to find rims that, on the surface, should fit the car.

However, most seem to have no quoted size for the bolt holes and I assume most are for M12 bolts but my car has M14 bolts.

My first question is, will my M14 bolts fit through the holes in wheels originally intended for M12 bolts?

If not, is there anywhere I can go to find the hole size for any given BMW rim style.

I could just buy new (at increasec sot obviously) but for info, the BMW website even seems unreliable in speccing appropriate wheels. My car has 17 inch "star spoke, style 393" fitted from the factory, but the BMW winter wheel website tells me they are unsuitable for my car... it doesn't state the reason they are unsuitable.

Amongst many others your 393s are listed on this website Felgen-Katalog - BMW-Treff - der Treffpunkt für alle BMW-Fans und -Fahrer unfortunately it is natively in German but you can select the the F36 GC from the drop down menu then view suitable rims?

Sorry but regards your M14 wheel bolts fitting BMW wheels listed as using M12 bolts I can only suggest you have a quick Google, I quickly found Wheel compatibility between E90 and F30?
