    E46 m sport Wheels question?

    Hey Guys,

Am trying to get a rough idea what I need to make Style 5's sit nice on a E46 Msport. ATM everything is standard including the shocks and springs. Am looking into Coil overs as I think this would ideal with the drop. Any advise on drops and brands would be great? The 2nd thing i was looking at was the Style 5 17" 8J 5x120 ET10. At the moment Iíve got a staggered setup with 18". Would i need to get spacers for the rears get a stance look? I don't want the wheels getting hidden in the arches. The 3rd thing is tyre size? I have no clue what to put on? I think they came standard with 205/40/17? Andy advice would be great

    Cheers
    Bhav

    E46 m sport Wheels question?

    Hey Bhav.

17s and coilovers on an E46 would give a slammed look. Think Honda civics with tiny wheels. Is that the stanced look you want?

You definitely set on the style 5s?

    Got a pic of them?

    Morning Johann

I've tried to attach a pic of the look I want to go for.

Yeah heart is set on style 5's. Kinda like the Euro look and would suit a E46

Looks good actually. I had a different image in my head. I take back my original comment.

@Devil may be able to give you more info as he is looking to fit coilovers & throwing stars onto his E36,
afaik its a similar scenario as throwing stars also have low ET & E36/E46 use ET30-47 as standard

you can try this calculator Bhav, Wheel Offset Calculator

    MV1's are:-
    Front alloy wheels: 18x8" ET47 &
    Rear alloy wheels: 18x8.5" ET50

StanceWorks - View Single Post - E46 on Style 5s

i would run a 205/40 up front with maybe 10mm spacers up front and 15 mm spacers at the rear if your after a stretched slammed look mate and you will def need your arches sorting if your slamming it without doubt and 215 40s at the rear

coilovers i would use what prince uses hsd or another real quality kit to make it driveable and great ride quality as 17s unless your dropped a lot on a e46 look silly and most do 18s anyway but 17s can work real well.
i wouldnt run a cheap kit unless your budget wont stretch to it on get a quality lowering kit of 60mm minimum.

keep it usuable and get the camber etc sorted and the handling properly set up afterwards

Any more you need help wise feel free to ask
    Andy
