    E46 M3 - Young Driver Insurance

Not been on here much lately as I no longer own a BMW, due to a company car the 323Ci was sold in August time.

Can anyone recommend any company's to try insurance with for an M3 aimed towards younger drivers.

TPFT coming in at just under 3k, which although is silly it is affordable, and a statement I read earlier along the lines of 'if you can comfortably afford it then do it or you'll forever find reasons' is playing on my mind. I'm well aware a lot of people on here will comment on how silly it is paying for this insurance and I should instead stick to the smaller engines, I'm not interested in these replies as I'm in a position where the M3 will be a luxury and not a necessity.

However, I want fully comp and the prices i'm getting for that are coming in at 5 - 6k which I am not entertaining the thought of at all.

I know insurance is hit and miss, but just a few ideas of company's to try would be great.

    Cheers

    20. Turning 21 in May. Ideally I want an M3, but if the insurance is not going to get any lower i'll be sticking to the GSXR. But current plan is to sell the bike if I can find sensible insurance.

Obviously I understand the age is a big factor against me, but just after a few ideas for companys people can recommend.

3k is a fantastic price at that age.

Yeah, that's TPFT only though. I don't think it's worth the risk, and ideally want fully comp. I'd snatch fully comp for 3k, but unfortunately prices are coming in at 5k - 6k.

If I was to have any misfortune that was my fault etc, it will be costly to replace myself. Where as fully comp will give me the peace of mind should the worst happen.

While you are that age get a 6k one there are some realy good ones on the market at the moment they have dropped like fook.

You realy don't want to be spending 9-12k. On one as you are going to lose 3k on it in the next 12 months.
