Hi Ronnie Thanks for the link. Unfortunately my laptop security settings wont let me operate it. I tried for two hours last noght but couldnt get around it. So I need to ask a favour.

I drove to Bristol and back today, a round trip of 200 miles. THe cars heater would not heat up and it was bloody freezing so I pulled out the fuse that I had used to replace the broken on - Number 62. This is the fuse for the HCV. Heat immediately. It would seem that the default position for the HCV is fully ON but as soon as you send power to it, it closes to off. Something needs to "tell" it to open, and by how much. Im guessing this is the Cabin temp sensor. I also found out that when I installed a fuse to number 23 ( which was missing) NOTHING changed. So my conclusion is that whatever is on the end of fuse 23, it aint working. I need to know what this is.

The favour I need to ask is for some kind person to take a look at the link provided and tell me what fuse 23 goes to. Also it would be useful to know if there is anything in-between the fuse and the "thing" such such as a resistor or anything that might have gone bang. Ive a feeling its either the HCV pump or the cabin temp sensor.

    So to summarise,

HCV Powered up - Stone cold
HCV not powered up - Bloody hot

Nothing in between even though the blower functions as normal. When on AUTO The system thinks that it is working because when i dial in above 22 degrees the blower bar shows only 2 blocks whereas when I dial 16 degrees the blower lights up all the blocks and blows full blast.

    Many thanks.

Anyone else having problems getting the hyperlinks to work? When I click on the green links nothing happens. everything else works, but its slower to type it in. They are useless right now. not a big issue just an annoyance.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply!
Pictures to help also. Sorry this is a bit long.
I am looking for a diagram of one of the clutch pedal position sensors that control cruise and starter cutout(neutral safety). I have the one for the blue switch. I am having difficulty finding the one for the Red switch. They are both 3 pin/wire connections that are in the pedal assembly at the clutch pedal. DME MS42. Newer models have them both together on a 4 pin connector that attaches to the clutch master cylinder.

I just need to find where ONE wire connects.
Purple and white stripe .5mm squared or approx 20 gauge...Think it is positive voltage for the switch but I do not know where it connects to.

The rest correlate to the 4 pin for newer models and they are as follows

NEUTRAL SWITCH (red) Need this diagram-pedal-cluster-switches-jpg-pedal-position-switch-top-blue-dme-ms42-jpgs32 x11143 clutch position switch DME MS42.pdf
    Pin 1: Brown/black stripe-------------Ground (x217)
    Pin 2: Blue/black stripe----------------Pin 8 of EWS
Pin 3: Purple/white stripe-------------?+voltage for module? where does it go?

CRUISE SWITCH (blue) Have this diagram
    Pin 1: Brown/black stripe-------------Ground (x217)
Pin 2: Blue/brown stripe--------------DME pin 23 (kills cruise when pedal depressed)
Pin 3: Violet/Yellow stripe------------splice to brake light pin 1 (they both lead to x10016 a fuse in glove)

I am doing an auto to manual swap which is why I don't know where the wire connects. It is not in my car yet as far as I can tell so I cannot follow it to its origin.

Thank you for any help!! I've been banging my head against the wall with this
