Well I got my BM Technics package working on Christmas night, so I read and cleared the fault codes.
Most of them were old, so I noted them and cleared them.
2 that were persistient were both in the instrument cluster. 1 is the oil level sensor being o/c, which I know about. The other is as above.
I was using DIS, and in the fault details it had the code "BE" and description was "Data filing difference to central light module - invalid working range". I just don't understand what it means.
The LCZ light switch module seems to be ok, I see no evidence of a Tamper dot in the dash, and the LCZ seemed to be coded to the right VIN, and I have no evidence that it was ever changed.
Slightly irritatingly one of the glow plugs has been o/c intermittently.
Also getting DME/DDE fault 4507 "EGR positive control deviation/air mass too low" 13 times, most recently 39km before I read the codes, so I guess the EGR valve could do with a clean, and also maybe the MAP/MAF. I'll see if any of the intermittent ones come back.
