I am member of the bmw club, over the last few days i have begun a recruitment drive in my local area( Poole, Dorset) when ever i see a parked bmw with a owner i approach them and begin a conversation most times remarking on how nice their car looks. We all like that do we not. I have had a positive response from three I give as much info as time allows and give them my web details for more chat i of course mention our forum. I am in the Wessex region our local meet is at St Leonards Hotel, southbound A31 near Ring wood the first Wednesday of the month. When i attend the next meeting i am going to suggest inviting non members to the next meeting. I am not a organiser but will see how it goes. We will then be able to give the visitors lots of info on the club if the other members agree to my suggestion. I will tell them NO NEGATIVE waves. If i receive a positive reaction. I will report back hear. I do not know how many of our members their are in my region but worth a try. Lots of things to do if only we can get together. For example we have just returned from twelve days in Wales found a super place to stay in the Brecon Beacons you know whats their do you not the A4069 the Black Mountain pass as featured on top gear with our friend Jeremy in his Amg ( whats wrong with a M 4 ) beautilful, fast road. That would make a nice 4 day break for a group of bmw drivers.
