Bilstein B8 shock fitting and little discovery!

Finally got around top fitting my B8's had them for well over a month

Got a few pics during the process for you all

    Crappy old shock

    Old verses new

New one in position, look so good shame there hidden!

    Now the discovery!
Am almost certain my cars had a small accident repair on the front passenger side.
A, Because the wing has rusted badly and is not an oem part
B, Appears the shocks are slightly different (part numbers don't match) and the monkey that replaced the shock didn't fit it full into the hub so it was clamped about 20mm higher than it should have. Hence why my care was always leaning to the drivers side! Now its perfectly level only taken all new suspension to sort it

    Drivers original shock (I believe?)

    Passenger shock

Together notice the different position the hub was clamped.

    Oh and it drives ace!
