    Plasti Dipping alloys

Don't laugh but I'm playing on trying this on my winter alloys and if they look good potentially doing the normal alloys.

Has anyone had any experience with it?

For those not in the know it's this stuff:

Has very good reviews and is about 18 a tin.

Don't look to bad really but what's the difference between this and paint.

Quite smart stuff. Suppose if you dont like the colour just pull it off and spray it something else.

I don't really see the point, it just seems to be one of the latest fads with no real benefit.

    Benefits:
    - 18 does 4 alloys
    - No need to sand them down
    - Can change the colour when you want
    - Chip/Scrape it then simply patch it up or worst case scenario pull it off and start again
    - Has a good finish
    - Pretty much anyone can spray it
    - Test the colour before you pay for a professional re-furbisher?

My sister wants her alloys doing so I don't even need to test them out on mine.

    Perfect.

I'll let you know the results.

Where do you buy this stuff from?
I might use it instead of paint for my style 68s
