    Hartge H50 e46 Motorhaube

I am fantasizing about where I want to go with may car

And due to a recent carreer deflection I have "Facilities?" that will allow me to basically do what I want!

Reading through my nostalgic BM W(ank) magazines fom the late nineties and till 2002 I always stop and admire the Hartge H50 with the M5 motor and the Nasca bonnet scoops! the article always makes good reading (only the G-power Hurricane is more impressive!)

The bonnets are much rarer than Hens teeth and have a premium of about 2000 Pounds.

So I am dabbling with the idea, "Make your own!", but cause I am a chicken shit I will have to scource a second hand bonnet to moelest. The big question would be "Is It Cheesy?" and putting an M3 Bulge on the Bonnet is it too much? (the original H50 bulge is longer and more tapered).

Sorry about the first pic being sideways but I told the computer to turn it but was ignored!!

Damn computers always ignore you! But I love the h5 hartge! It was only yesterday I was reading about them actually! I'd say save the penny's and just buy one! Or even better keep your nice example standard and buy a cheap e30 and s50 it's ass!

Better ways in my opinions to spend your money mate plus the full m3 kit for a e46 isn't like a bolt on e36 jobbie it has all the arch flares and cuttings. So it wouldn't be cheap at all and I would imagine the same cost to s50/s52 or even v8 a e30 and make it look fantastic!

I do not want an M3 lookalike!! That is really dis-tasteful!

But that H50 bonnet has always intrested me! Although in the H50 its open and would cover your engine in shiite, mine will be ducted!! (if i can be arrssed to do it)

Sometimes a little can make a big difference! (them mirrors on the H50 are shit! look like a deers ear!)

Ah I see! In that case don't do the bonnet as it would look cheap and chavvy I think! Without the rest of the kit it would just look aftermarket and poo to 99.5602% of the world who wouldn't have the slightest
