    E61 04 headliner respray?

    Hi Guys,
I just want your opinions or suggestions, ideas...
I have my car almost where I want it. Few things left and one of them is headliner.
I have black interior but headliner is white/gray. I have dog who is now just touching headliner and he still has some time till he stop growing and im sure it would be messy soon. Found headliner and bits online but for second hand they around 700 quid mark.

One idea was to buy fabric spray paint and do it. I do not want to mess it up to make it look crap either, anybody has some tips or suggestions?
    thank you

In the past I've used normal matt black car spray cans and done carpets and parcel shelf's, and all have come up good

Just do light coats and get plenty of drying time in-between and you should be fine

    Hi All,
so just to update the thread, all done and Im quite chuffed with the result.
I was searching for some good spray paint for the fabric, both durable and with good results. Was not much to choose from to be honest actually only one: "Simply Spray". I have to say due to the poor spray nozzle the waste and spraying is difficult, but i could not find any better solutions. I did not want to use normal spray as I want the fabric to be as fabricy to the touch as possible. The paint is water based and problem you have with headliner and bits is that they are underlined with sponge material underneath so the job looks perfect when when wet, but when it dries you end up with patches and pale color. Now I found a good technique to overcome this, you need to use hair dryer actually. So once you spray the coat, immediately you start drying it with hairdryer so you actually dry as much paint as possible on the top layer of the fabric! Use light coats instead of heavy ones. I only bought the black fabric made sun visors to add but im pretty happy with gray roof handles and airbag logos.
    THats what we started with:

    and this is the result:

    job took 7 spray cans.
    thanks
