This just goes to show that a good tuned car can beat a tuned M
Soooo... They're two cars, with effectively the same engine, in slightly different states of tune...
The 1M can also be tuned too......

I don't think it was necessarily a bad idea for the 1M engine (so long as you have a warranty) - more that this is a silly test.
And... Assuming they're standard chassis, the 135 has no hope in anything but a straight line anyway.
I think the one M is a bloody good car put them round a track it would show the 135 up Ė no LSD etc. You can tune any car to go fast in a straight line, there is a still a lot of extra effort that goes into the M. I donít subscribe to this nothing should ever change stuff, 1M is capable to wear whatever badge it chooses IMO.
