The near side reflector of my car has a faint mark on it caused by me spraying compressed air can which sprayed some moisture, the guy that fitted my angel eyes did wipe most of it off but still leaving a faint smear.
To be fair I thought when I had it detailed the guy would have cleaned the reflectors but I saw the other day when I had my Angel Eyes replaced it was still there.
You can't see it when the lens is on nor does it seem to affect light output much, but my OCD wants me to clean it up.
Is there anything to clean up the silver reflectors on headlights or am at a high risk of damaging the finish in using anything to clean it with?
I've got some methylated spirit at home so I was thinking of quickly dabbing some on a cotton ball or something but that stuff does seem quite toxic so that may burn through the plastic.
Any suggestions at all?
