ok anybody have leaky headlamp washers?,using too much washer fluid?, spraying it all over the place?, losing all your washer fluid? its probably the headlamp washer nozzle faulty here is a how to in my case it also jettisoned the front fascia too..there is no need to remove the headlamp or anything!
wot you will need..
long nose pliers
quick release clamp
coat hanger wire (not shown)
ok as stated on mine it jettisoned the front fascia too so to get at your offending nozzle jet simply grab the nozzle and telescopic with your pliers and pull it out.. if your fascia is intact simply hook the coathanger wire under the bottom of the fascia and pull it forward so you can grab it..
once you have pulled it forward on its telescopic arm get ya clamp on the arm to stop it retracting when ya let go. in my piccy i have putty blocking the nozzle ends because i was losing all my fluid and had to order and wait for the nozzle.
to remove the nozzle simply pull it off with a good sharp pull at this point you will lose all your washer fluid in the bottle.
new nozzle assembly around £20 from stealer
to fit nozzle simply push it onto the telescopic shaft firmly till it locates itself the nozzle is moulded and preset no adjustment needed of the jets..
new trim piece approx £5 these come unpainted tho in black primer you have to paint them yourself
fascia trim piece simply clips over and on the nozzle assembly.
finally remove the quick release clamp and allow your washer telescopic to retract back fill your washer bottle and your done..
total cost inc paints..was around £30
