Hmm, buy it on a cash back credit card, transfer the balance to a 0% card, save on your fuel, use the change to pay for the LPG kit lol

Dunno mate I avoid cards just joking above.

I have been considering NOT doing the M3 with a cheap conversion. The manufactueres of kit run training courses for the stuff and the course if for two or three people and generally costs about as much as a retail install, think is I am tempted to do one and convert the M3 that way and end up as a certified installer. A couple of other people could come along and theow some money to me and end up certified as well and able to then sign off their own kit......... That opens up trade buying on the kits.

That said people are quoting "from" which I always misstrust 600 - 700 upwards for 6 cyl.............

All depends how much to drive it how long you would keep it and iin fact would you drive it more if cheaper?

    Yes !

But still, the initial outlay puts me off
I like the idea of that training course thing, but I wouldn't have a scooby doo where one is run around here.

That's a double edged sword tho cos the more you 'begrudge' paying the scandalously taxed pump price for petrol the more you'll use the cheaper converted vehicle, so increasing monthly fuel costs just cos of the feel good factor?

I can see your point, and to a degree you may do more miles just because you can but you aren't likely to do 30% to 40% more miles, so you could argue you could be financially better off or that you have a higher standard of living / quality of life if you can go out and do what you want to more or redistribute the petrol funds you would have spent elsewhere.

Basically all the arguments that lead people to choose a diesel traditionally

    Does 800 sound better?

My kit is rated up to 350BHP and cost 800 me fitting and return to supplier for setup and certify, I gave him my laptop to set it up on and started media encoder and captured the setup process

Oh yeah, I have learn that I could have got more tank capacity in the same space by going "full toroidal" 4 hole tank, costs a little more but no hole through the middle, but generally you have to cut wheel well under car for valves.

4 cylinder kits are cheaper than 6 cylinder so where mine cost 800 you would be looking around 600 IF you could fit yourself, however, reading people from prices people are quoting from that end for fitted these days, seema s bit cheap to me lol
