Already a memebe ron other beemer forums, I decided to jin to join this one for the quality of some of the posts look broader and higher than most. I guess the volume of active users of e36 6-cyl cars is seriously limiting these days, after all many are now over 2àyrs old.
Mine is a 325i saloon September 1994 currently showing 136000 km !! She had 112000 km when I bought her in May 2011, so I haven't worn her out yet.
Well serviced she'e in pretty good nick apart from the usual bodywork nicks that seem inevitable these days unless you avoid public parkings. That doesn't bother me too much, everybody likes a neat car, but I personnqly am more interested in the joy I get sat behind her 6 pots and smilign as I wonder why others have to slide to work and hols in 4 cyl silly Renaults and Pijos that are obviously all over the place here in France.
As far as I am concerned, the joys of France do NOT extend neither to the french brand of modern cars, nor the french habit of riding anywhere in the cheapest way poss. I'll stick to the old adage that if you're going to go from A to B whatever the distance, its worth doing it in style, and a decent engoned beemer is hard to beat.
Here's she is in her summer shoes
