Hi to you all. I am not new to BMW - having taken ownership in 2014 of a low mileage (63581 miles) 2000 (W) Z3 in Topaz Blue Metallic + OEM Hardtop for 2+years and enjoying it for two years+ until 76,373 miles and taking the decision to change for a 3 Series 325 Ci Auto Convertible.
This was largely brought about because of an inconsiderate 'Joe Public' that continually made it more difficult to get in and out of my tea-tray on castors - the 325 Ci is that little bit higher and therefore no need to struggle any longer to gain access to the driver seat after the idiots that insist on parking so close they really must be in need if serious talking at - but they are never about.
At pushing 71yrs young and with a Prosthetic Left Knee coupled with increasing Arthritis in my hips and the other knee and not getting any taller (4'10") also with limited bend at the knee I made the difficult decision to change cars.
I have- after two years of looking - found a rather nice 2002 Series 3 325 Ci Auto in Gold Metallic with a Buttermilk Nappa Leather Interior and complimentary Bids Eye Maple trim.
The car has a certified and documented 59,000 miles with full History and appears to be in exceptional condition having itself been a Summer Time car.
I collect he car tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon and begin what is hoped will be an - as enjoyable period of ownership as with my Z3.
Yes,I like Cheese and have an Eclectic Taste Range but I do draw the line at Craft Plastic - I don't even adulterate toasted bread with it.
I enjoy out and about visiting Hostelries up and down the country and taking a meal with various ales from our increasing number of Micro Breweries - my all-time favourite is Allendale Wolf.
