Greetings to all you experts. Having previously owned a 520i which was great to drive, my disability meant that I had to stop for a leg stretch very often. I spent almost two years searching for another 5 which had "Active seats" when, following a service visit to my local dealership, the sales guy called to see if i was interested in the loan car they had provided. When he learnt of my "Active seats" search, like so many others, he quoted the 'Needle and Haystack', but then remembered that they had just received an E39 on a 2002 plate with massive speck and said he would call back. Bingo! It had them, and I instructed him to put a sold sign on it without seeing the car. That was in November 2003 and I have owned it ever since. Driving is a pleasure and I have driven as long as 3 hours at a stretch on the continent without any bother.
In 2014 problems started with 'Brake Juddering'. I have had so much work done I am now at a loss as to how to go on!
Please read my entry under "Suspension and Brakes". I would very much appreciate some help.
