Hi new member flinny here I've got a question

Hi all hope somebody can help me I've got a 318D 2011 plate my car is running
Beautiful loads of power no smoking no misfires easy starting I've owned the
Car for just over a year and it has developed irregular idling but only occasionally
If I stop the engine and restart the problem seems to go away so far it has happened
5 times this week just wondering if anybody in the community has had similar problems
And if so got any suggestions any help would be grateful as it is a wonderful car and it's always been regular serviced
    Many thanks
    Scott

Hi Scott & welcome to BFi

Your idling problems could be pointing to a failing MAF sensor?
As they're quite an expensive item to replace I suggest having a diagnostic scan to confirm the MAF readings.
Cleaning the sensor with the correct fluid can sometimes rejuvenate the MAF
