Hi, I'm thinking of getting a 2007ish 330 diesel tourer. I currently drive a 500bhp Evo7, but it's not a pleasant drive for any distance.
I'm getting older/sensible-er and hooning around in my chav-waggon is getting tiresome, don't get me wrong, the performance is epic - but it just seams like such an effort every time I go out.
One question.... Is the 3.0 Diesel easy to increase the torque? I have heard some BMW's have very good results with a re-map & wondered if this is one.
With the price of fuel as it is and diesel advantage dwindling just buy a 330 Petrol and don't worry about having to increase performance

I can say the E46 330i (Petrol) are ok... & really comfy!

My evos sold tonight hopefully and I'll have a 535d sport by sat, you won't miss the evo, well I won't.
Sounds like a 335 is the way forward then!

Be careful of 335i. They can come with a lot of problems. You'll be okay with 335d thoughSounds like a 335 is the way forward then!

You won't miss it because you have an M3 and a bike so can get your ya yas out elsewhere so not the same position
