    Hi folks,

Got the ENGINE SERVICE message and the weekend and the check engine symbol as well

Lucky tho the new meter arrived yesterday so got that fitted

after unplugging the battery just loosened this jubille clip

this rusty torx screw and one further down

plugged back and ready to go

did a bit of reading about this before i did it and followed what it said

Turned the key to 2 before reconnecting the battery and the ENGINE SERVICE and check engine symbol has gone

The old Superdreams running sweet again

Next job will be the second lot of autobox oil, maybe at the weekend

    Thanks for looking guys

    Hi folks,

Not been much happening with the old Superdream really

In the last 2 months ive gave it an oil and filter change and swapped out another 4 litres of autobox oil, running great and still reliable

Started getting a kinda clicking noise a couple of weeks back tho, if you went hard on the throttle

Did some reading and decided to get this

    Top engine mount, goes here

Once i had a look i thought i would have to remove this strut brace but didnt in the end, if id had to it wouldnt have been out off today

Just had to remove these covers as one of the bolts is under there

these 2 small bolts as well so could move the turbo pipe a bit for better access

got the new mount and and everything back together fine and the clicking noise is gone now so was worth it

that new one has a metal reinforcing plate on it so should last for ages i think

this is the old one, dont think it was doing anything now

Was reading about the PCV on these and found out an easy way to check if its decent so thought id do that while i was there

Checked the dipstick hole to see if any puffs of smoke came out with the engine running

Got a glove on the oil filler with an elastic band as well

Apparently if theres no smoke and the glove starts been drawn into the filler then all is decent so all seems good for now

Took it for a good run as well a few weeks back, stretch it legs a bit

Went onto the Old Military Road from Blairgowrie and up to Glenshee over the Lecht etc, was great and didnt put a foot wrong

Well happy how this car has been, specially with what its cost so far

    Im liking the Volvos now

    Thanks for looking guys

Forgot to say, when i was sitting in that car park having ma tea a bloke on a push bike came past really slow up the hill, pedals going like the clappers, its really quite steep like

By the time i moved again i caught up with him over the top and going down the hill. Thought he was nippin on a bit so as i was passing i sat there alongside for a couple of seconds and he was doing just over 50

Hats off to bloke i thought

    Hi folks,

Well thats the Superdream on its way to another owner

Well happy with how this car has been and what its cost to buy/ maintain over the last 20 months and 15000 miles.

Needed something a bit bigger like an estate so sold this cheap to the sister in law.

Got to say as a car id recommend an S60 to anyone

If you dont mind Mods just leave this open incase i end up buying it back sometime

Will start a wee thread for its replacement once i get going on photobucket as its not working right for me.

Thanks for looking guys and the interest and feedback
