No one seems to have done one of these old skool style. I reckon with the classic lines on it, it could be made to look a lot older than it is. Not forcing ideas on you Watty, just a model I've never thought of doing before and I can see it's got good potential for a lot of ideas.... only whilst they are cheap. Damn, I wish I had a bigger unit!

There's still a few about so there is no rush.

You should do something with it, something unique... rat it or something.
Don't know what happened to the 7 series? Have to catch up as I haven't been around lately, work is demanding all my good bits at the moment... Best of luck with it.

    Thanks Rude

Yeah i like that V12 ones as well but thought a six cylinder would be better fo me with the DIY stuff, does sound good that engine

A mate had a series 3 years ago and i think thats when i thought id like to try one someday. Wasnt a V12 but i was till good i thought

I think the weak link in it would be the old autobox but its worth the chance and i could break it and get something back if it decided not to play anymore

I really like that car, very cool and looks mean as well

When i think of the Jags up to the 90s i always think of the 60/70s bank robbers, they ALWAYS had a Jag!

Woulnt mind one like your pals one, get a old stocking on the face or a balaclava just for the full effect!

Dont really know whatll ill do with it mate except blacking out the chrome, would love a different/ wider set of alloys as well

Got to say this old machine is pretty addictive. Its an old car but ive never driven anything like it. It just glides along smoothly and quietly and then the six gets a nice deep rasp if you hit the kickdown

The S60 has the most comfy/ support combo seats of any car ive had till i sat in the ones in this Jag, your not so snug in them but their just really comfy

Wont be touching this now till i get a couple of thing done with the e32 and its back on the go and ill see how it goes

Been googling images of them to see how i can make it look better

I was in an empty Tesco garage tonight and saw a Green x400 pull up across the forecourt but this thing was super low, almost as low as my BM! When I had a peek I saw a 80 year old bloke putting fuel in it, I thought 'surely not'... As he drove off it even had the tell tale panama hat on the back shelf, but then I noticed all the return lips on the arches was chewed up and spat out, are those on air or something? If they are, his didn't work anymore... or someone had nicked his springs...

Dunno then. If I wasn't rushing about I'd have gone and had a butchers, didn't look too safe. You going to drop yours (properly) to join the long and low club?
