    But at £1/litre, I wasnlt going to put any in any time soon. It does seem to like the 2 stroke oil, injectors seem a little quieter now

    PDs need proper biodiesel, not just veg oil.
    It needs to be refined then it runs as normal with no performance loss and no emissions at mot time. My Mrs did about 50k on her biodiesel and the sister in law ran a new beetle up to 130k on biodiesel.
    PDs love it, my van only likes it in warm weather, it's no good in a Toyota van in the winter.

    My Mrs Golf was an 02 the Beetles a 53 and neither has or had one spot of rust on them, they are very solid, it's people who ain't had them spreading stories like Chinese whispers.

    Worked on plenty of the rusty bag of bolts to know that they corrode Plump - got a taligate off a 52 plate in my workshop to prove it..... Each to their own, but I ain't buying one.... And I ain't Chinese or spreading any stories - only facts buddy.

    Oh, and I have owned 9 VW/Audi cars in the past.

    You must live in a well road salted area then, or the cold wet north, they are fine down here
