    2006 Nissan 350z GT

Picked up the 350z this morning. It's a 2006 with GT package so that means heated leather electric seats, Bose sound system, cruise control, lightweight Rays alloys, 4 pot Brembos.

Weather has been terrible so no decent pics.

    Nice motor.
Saw a fully Nismo kitted one yesterday and should have got a photo, it looked pretty purposeful.

Plans are to get the interior nicely cleaned and treat the leather, get it undersealed, 4 wheel alignment/geometry.
Might order a stubby aerial to replace the long oem one, a panel filter and possibly a plenum spacer to improve air flow to the cylinders.

It drives really nicely as standard and rides better than I thought it would, the brakes offer a nice bite but are quite progressive when needed. It's the 300ps version so has plenty of power but I found you don't need to take it into the upper reches of the rev range to make decent progress as 90% of the engines torque (260lbft) is available below 3k rpm.

Car already had an induction kit and Nismo oil filer cap.

Done the usual Sunday 430 mile drive back to work and averaged 31mpg for the first 100 miles then I calculated the next 210 to be 33mpg so the on board readout is very accurate.
