Here is the new project! Most were lucky enough to see it at the Northampton meet yesterday but I'll be keeping an up-to-date project thread on here for everyone to enjoy. I'll still be at all the usual meets/shows so there will be plenty of opportunities to see the progress in the metal. I had to travel all the way from Northampton to Plymouth to get it, and it was definitely worth it!

It doesn't really need anything. It is completely rust free and spent last winter tucked away inside a garage witha cover on. It came with 12 months MOT, 6 months tax and a completely and working refreshed air con (most modified S14s have had it ripped out). It was difficult finding one in the spec I wanted as I was being fairly specific. I had to speak to 4 different people, all with various spec'd out cars. The closest to me being one in Southampton hence why I made so many phone calls before doing any travelling. But it was worth it!
I have no immediate plans apart from to change the race battery for a proper battery (the race battery goes flat after 3 days) and get @Steve to have a look underneath the car. There are a few areas of body work that I want smoothing and I'm sure I will eventually get coilovers, bigger brakes (possibly R33 GTR), Recaros and some different wheels (although the RX8 rims have really grown on me since I bought it). I'm sure I will up the power as well when I'm used to it. It does need better lights though as the standard ones are shit, and the wipers need replacing (my local dealer doesn't have any!).
For now though I'm enjoying the comfort of just lowering springs and leather seats.
As for the power, it's absolutely fucking brutal the way it delivers it! The turbo doesn't really lag (nothing noticeable unless you floor it 5th whilst doing 30mph) and even with the boost dialled down from 1.3 bar to 0.74 bar it is very quick. I love the pressure release sound as well! I've even been informed it was spitting flames on the way home. Far quicker than the 318is (with the 'charger) and would honestly destroy it in a straight line. I am very happy with it and so glad I sold the 318is to buy it. I am in officially in love with a car again!
I would also like to say a huge thanks to @suj for all the help so far (and in the future!).
Enough talking bollocks now. Time for some pictures!
