    Focus on the eye and use a fast lens. I always use my 35mm F1.8 for them

    I was using the same lens if im honest, aperture set to 1.8, thinking I should set up aperture at 2.2 maybe? they wouldn't keep still long enough which didnt help lol

    F1.8's fine, the trickiest part is getting the eye in focus before they move Try manual focus, see if that helps
