Hi Everybody here, just thought I would share this
My daughters Ford Focus 2.0 Tdci serviced by a trusty Indy mechanic July 2012, with no problems,
Unfortunatley car not serviced June 2013 due to various reasons, car had covered another 18,000 miles
The car was due it's 1st MoT July 2013, I had a friend who took it to a garage in Leeds as it was convenient.
The car has a MoT certificate to show it being roadworthy.
The car covered another 300miles, before it was picked up and brought back to Cheshire.
Daughter complained of a metal noise whilst driving on the M62!
Told her to slow down immediately and I then followed her.
Car taken to my Indy mechanic for a service and complete inspection the next day.
I guess you guys know what I am about to say, the rear brake pads were non existant, the metal disks really chewed up & ruined!
The front pads were on the very minimum, practically shot at, and front disks well worn.
Needless to say everything was replaced and car 100% brake safe.
So my question is, How the hell did the car pass an MOT in July 2013 with dangerous brakes?
