Right guys, forgive what might seem like a really bloody stupid set of questions but can someone help me confirm that I actually need to replace the clutch on my 106?
∑ Clutch Ďfeelí is normal (normal resistance to being pressed). Range of motion normal.
∑ Car will not engage any gear (gearbox feels as though the clutch is not being pressed, whether or not it is actually being pressed).
∑ One time on the last journey after it had Ďfailedí, I *think* that I could get the clutch to slip by putting it in 2nd/3rd, pushing the clutch as hard as I could and then stamping on the throttle. Couldnít replicate this more than once though.
First port of call for me is to check that the cable it still intact.
Like I say, this might sound silly but Iíve never had a clutch properly fail before so this is all new. Iíve not got any pressure to get the thing back on the road so Iím going to do the work myself.
