Whatís the best way to heat protect an ECU from engine block heat? Basically real bad design by Vauxhall. The ECU is currently bolted onto the side of the bottom with 4 bolts and is prone to play up after a while which it has done on my. I've just had it sent off to get repaired (Isnít cheap trust me) and I wanted to protect it from this problem again. Unfortunately the Cables leading to the ECU are short so relocating is out of the question. Instead am thinking about placing something behind it to stop it absorbing the heat from the block. Any idea's guys?
I'll try and get some pics to help.
